Wearing Tights & leggings is Allowed in Islam ?

Islamic modesty is not just about covering your skin, it’s about concealing your shape and cover up your physical appearance of body.
Wearing Tights & leggings which is almost the same thing as wearing nothing on your legs.

   

Allah commanded to women In The Holy Qur'an :

    

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ, قُلْ لأَزْوَاجِكَ وَ بَنَاتِكَ وَ نِسآءِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ: يُدْنِيْنَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ جَلاَبِيْبِهِنَّ           

“O Prophet(SAW) ! Say to your wives, your daughters, and the women of the believers that: they should let down upon themselves their jalabib(loose outer garments).”(33:59)

What is the meaning of “jalabib”?'
 
Jalabib جَلاَبِيْبٌ is the plural of jilbabجِلْبَابٌ , which means a loose outer garment.
It defines a wide loose outer dress, wider than the scarf and shorter than a robe, that a woman puts upon her head and lets it down on her bosom .

This means that the Islamic dress code for women does not only consist of a scarf that covers the head, the neck and the bosom; it also includes the overall dress that should be long and loose.

So, for instance, the combination of a tight, short sweater with tight-fitting jeans with a scarf over the head does not fulfill the requirements of the Islamic dress code.

An Other Verses of The Holy Qur'an :

وَ لاَ يُبْدِيْنَ زِيْنَتَهُنَّ إِلاَّ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَ لْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلىَ جُيُوْبِهِنَّ...

“.And not display their beauty except what is apparent, and they should place their khumur over their bosoms...”

وَقُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا ۖ وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَىٰ جُيُوبِهِنَّ

And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their head covers over their chests and not expose their adornment '' Surat An-Nūr :31

Conclusion :

Allah commanded to Muslim women wear a wide loose outer dress, wider than the scarf and shorter than a robe, that a woman puts upon her head and lets it down on her bosom .

The combination of a tight, leggings, short sweater with tight-fitting jeans with a scarf over the head does not fulfill the requirements of the Islamic Hijab.

So According to Quranic verses Wearing Tights & leggings are not Allowed in Islam .
