Capsicum & Carrot curry/poriyal with Chapathi
Capsicum&Carrot curry/poriyal
This recipe goes well with roti, chapathis, rice.
Ingredients:
- Carrot -1
- capsicum -1{Medium Size}
- Onion -1{Medium Size}
- Tomato -1
- oil to fry -2 tbsp
- water - 1 & 1/2 cup
- Salt -to taste
- Red chilly Powder -2 tbsp
- Parsley Powder -1 tbsp (optional)
- Coriander leaves
Preparation:
- Chop the onion,(after washing)tomato,capsicum,carrot finely and keep it aside.
- Heat Oil in pan .Then add onion and saute it until it turns golden brown color.
- Now add tomatoes and saute it until it becomes smooth.
- If parsley powder available ,add it and stir well.
- Add chilly powder and then veggies stir for few seconds.
- Add water and close and leave it until the veggies are cooked well.
- When the veggies get softer and water get dried and get thick like gravy add coriander leaves.
- Serve with roti /chapathis /rice.
