Celebration on new year is of Non-muslim and not for a Muslim.

All praises & thanks are be to ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى). The Lord of the Aa'lameen.
Alhamdulillah I am a Muslim and i don't celebrate new year... Because Celebration on new year is of Non-muslim and  not of Muslim. Ummah must be aware of this and not to participate in it... First Muharram 1437 A.H Is Islamic New Year Calendar!
Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said,
"Be different from Mushrikeen (non believers)."
[Sahih Muslim]
Muharram mean “sacred”, concerning which it is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an:
“Indeed, the number of months with ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) is twelve [lunar] months in the register of ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion [i.e., way], so do not wrong yourselves during them …”
[Surah At-Tawbah, 9:36]
Abu Bakar رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰعنه reported that the Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said:
“The year consists of twelve months, of which four are sacred; the three consecutive months of Dhu’l-Qi’dah, Dhu’l-Hijjah and Muharram, and Rajab, which comes between Jumaada and Sha’baan.”
[Saheeh Bukhari]
And ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) knows best.
May ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) keep guiding us all to hear and obey Da'wah ALLAH (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى)
